The French Afternoon: Meeting Rival Sons in Amsterdam

Amsterdam jest jednym z moich ulubionych miast. Rival Sons są moją ulubioną kapelą. Domyślacie się pewnie jaka byłam szczęśliwa, kiedy dowiedziałam się, że lecimy na ich koncert do holenderskiej stolicy! Amsterdam uwielbiam za to, że jest niesamowicie zróżnicowany, awangardowy, z mnóstwem niezależnych sklepów i kafejek, z drugiej strony w ogóle nie przytłacza atmosferą wielkiego miasta. Rival Sons kocham za cudowne brzmienie i genialny wokal. Mówi się o nich, że są następcami Led Zeppelin czy The Doors. Fajnie, że są porównywani do takich gigantów rocka. Jeszcze lepsze jest to, że są sobą, mają swój styl i brzmią zupełnie współcześnie. Ich nie trzeba porównywać, to po prostu genialna kapela. Koncert odbył się w Melkweg, myślę, że zgromadził około 300 osób. Mam nadzieję, że niedługo będą grać dla 30 000 fanów :)

Amsterdam is one of my favourite places and Rival Sons is absolutely my favourite band. Finding out that we are going to Amsterdam for Rival Sons gig made me as excieted as the teenager in love can get! I adore the Dutch capital city for combining perfectly aristic atmosphere with the flow of big city. And nothing there is overhelming, you just feel relaxed and happy. I love Rival Sons for their sound and incredible vocal! It is said that the band is The Doors or Led Zeppelin heir. This is so cool that they are compared to those giants but I think they have got their own style, different mood and approach to music. Beside they are not stuck in the past, they are so modern! The show took place in famous Melkweg. I think there were about 300 people. I hope they will play soon for 30 000 fans. They deserve it! You just need to check them out!
